By the Grace of God, the staff and children at both Academies have stayed relatively healthy and free from COVID. The Academies have periodically suspended in person learning but are currently meeting again. Please keep them in your prayers and pray they get access to the vaccinations.
Construction of the 2nd floor of the school in West Bengal (Grace Academy) has begun and should be complete by early 2023. COVID restrictions, supply issues, and worker shortages has delayed this project. Two additional classrooms at Yeasom Village (Blessing Academy) were completed in the Fall of 2021 and the Children’s Home expansion will be completed by the end of 2022.
Amit, our on-site supervisor in West Bengal, informed us recently that the children at Grace Academy completed testing recently and the students that are living at the Children’s home did exceptionally well. They excelled in all areas. It’s very exciting to see these children from the tea garden doing so well.
